By booking with AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC the client agrees to, understands and, accepts all of the following terms and conditions:
Rental Item Condition: AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC guarantees all rental items are in good working order and without defect at the time of delivery. The client assumes all responsibility to return any and all rental items in the same condition as when they were rented & delivered in.
Warning and/or Safety Product Labels: AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC requires all clients and subsequent users (guests) read and adhere to any and all warning and/or safety labels available on rental items; These labels are from the manufacture and contain warning and/or safety information for all users.
Time Frame: All of AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC's rentals are for 24 hours. If any of the rental items are not returned and/or are not available for pick up within 24 hours or the agreed upon pick up time, the client will be charged $100.00 per day, for each day, past the agreed upon pick up time. If client would like to book a rental item for longer than 24 hours there is an additional fee. The additional fee depends on how much additional time the client wishes to rent the rental item(s) for.
Non-Refundable Deposit: At the time of signing the agreement, the client shall pay AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC a non-refundable deposit (retainer fee) in the amount of 20%. This deposit will be subtracted from the total amount owed by the client. This deposit cannot be transferred to a different date and/or booking. If cancelation is necessary, client will NOT be refunded their non-refundable deposit.
Cancellation: AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC does not offer refund, transfer, cancellation, return, or exchange options, regardless of the reason (weather or otherwise).
Payment: All charges must be paid in full by client to AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC no later than on the date of service (date of event). Please note, AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC accepts the following methods of payment: all major credit & debit cards; AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC does not accept cash, PayPal, or payment apps. Any final payment not received by the end of the date of service (date of event) will incur a late fee of $60.00 per day until payment is received.
Excessively Dirty, Damage, Loss, or Theft: While items are out for rent they should be cared for and kept in a secure location that provides shelter from damage, inclement weather conditions, as well as from theft, and/or vandalism. The responsibility for the rental items remains with the client for the duration of the rental; or untill the items are picked up by AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC. Client must take the necessary precautions to protect the rental items from damage, inclement weather, and theft. If any rental item(s) are returned damaged and/or broken, but fixable, the client will be charged full cost of item. In addition, the client will also be charged the full cost of the rental item(s) if the item is lost, stolen, not returned, or broken beyond repair. If any of the rental items are excessively dirty, the client will be charged an excessively dirty item cleaning fee. Any expense associated with any damage, lost, stolen, or excessively dirty rentals will be charged to the card we have on file.
Loan, Sublease, & Disposition: Client agrees to not loan, sublet, or otherwise dispose of equipment; or use it at any other location other than delivery location.
Delivery: Delivery will be made to service location (event location). The individual rentals items will be set up by the client unless otherwise specified. Items will be placed in the garage, cart port, or front porch area of the property; depending on proximity to street & access to delivery vehicle. Ideally the items will be placed in a garage as said location offers optimal protection to out property. Orders are typically delivered one day in advance of your event. AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC will coordinate a delivery date and time at the time of booking. Important: If the delivery includes traversing steps, an elevator, or a reasonable walk from where we can park our delivery vehicle, there is an additional fee.
Pick Up: A pick up date and time will be arranged at the time of delivery. Items will be picked up 24 hours later at the same location unless otherwise specified. Please have all items for pick up sorted, stacked, and accessible; at the same place they were dropped off at. If items are not in one place, with easy retrieval access, in the same place or area they were left at, an additional fee will apply. If any of the rental items are not returned and/or are not available for pick up within 24 hours or the agreed upon pick up time, the client will be charged $100.00 per day, for each day, past the agreed upon pick up time.
Food Consumption and/or Serving Items: Charger plates, glassware, silverware, serving containers, food display items, etc. must be stored and returned clean in their original containers; provided at delivery. Please use a wet washcloth to clean food display items, charger plates and/or placemats and chafing dishes frames. The inside insert of the chafing dishes, where the food goes, is hand washed only. All silverware, servware, and glassware such as any glass serveware, glass plates, glass wine glasses, glass champagne flutes, glass water goblets, etc. are all dishwasher safe.
Food Consumption and/or Serveware Item Cleaning Fee: If client rents any food or drink consumption and/or serveware items such as charger plates, glassware, silverware, serving containers, food display items, etc. and the client returns the item unclean the client will be charged a cleaning fee of $5.00 per uncleaned rental item returned unclean.
Linen: AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC will deliver the linen on hangers and covered with a clear plastic bag. The linen will be clean, pressed, and ready for client to use. Please return all linen free of food, debris, & unwashed. A clear trash bag will be provided at the time of delivery; client must put linen in clear bag when returning the linen. Client must also return all hangers provided with linen. PLEASE DO NOT SEAL OR TIE BAG. A fee will apply for all hangers not returned to AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC.
Tables and Chairs: For safety reasons AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC requires no one stand, jump, or use any harmful position on tables and/or chairs; Tables and chairs are not to be used as step stools and/or ladders. One person should sit on one chair at a time; To ensure safety as well as weight capacity is not exceeded.
Candles: AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC's candles cannot be used or turned on. If client wishes to use or light up any candles rented there will be a use fee applied. The use fee is $5.00 per candle used.
Backdrops: Once a backdrop is installed by AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC, the backdrop should not be moved. A backdrop requires a stand which is set up by AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC to offer optimal safety to event attendees. If moved, the stand(s) may be compromised. The backdrops are held down with sandbags; client must not remove any sandbags from any backdrop(s).
Inflatable Amusement Unit (Bounce House): If client is renting the inflatable amusement unit AOS Event Design and Rentals LLC shall provide the corresponding terms & conditions for the inflatable amusement unit to client. Client must be aware a separate rental policy and agreement applies when booking the inflatable amusement unit.
Set Up & Take Down: Items that are individually rented do not include set up and take down. If client wishes to rent individual items and have AOS Event Design and Rentals LLC set them up AOS Event Design and Rentals LLC can for an additional fee. AOS Event Design and Rentals LLC's event set up and take down services are priced per employee & per hour. The hourly rate is $60.00 per employee, with a minimum of one employee for two hours per booking. AOS Event Design and Rentals LLC will do it's best to provide the client with an estimate on how many hours it will approximately take to set up and take down client's event prior to the date of client's event. If AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC exceeds the approximated time provided to client on the actual day of the event, the overtime will be billed to client within 24 hours of the date of the event. The overtime will be billed at $60.00 per hour; AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC does not have a separate hourly rate amount for overtime. Please note, set up and take down services do not include cleaning the event and/or rental items. I.E. If client rents a dinner plate and uses it, the dinner plate must be returned in the same condition the client rented it in (clean); If any of the rental items are returned unclean a cleaning fee will be assessed per uncleaned item.
Photographs & Videos: Client grants AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC permission to capture, take, and use photographs and videos of their event, image, and likeness, for any legal use, including, but not limited to, publicity, copyright purpose, illustration, advertising, trade, promotion, web content, and social media platform content. AOS Event Designs and Rentals shall possess full ownership over the photos, videos, and any other media material(s).
Hold Harmless & Indemnify: Client assumes all risks inherent in the operation and/or use of any rental items by client or anyone else at their event (guests). Client agrees to hold AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC harmless from and against any and all liability, claims, judgements, attorney’s fees and costs of every kind and nature, including but not limited to, injuries or death to persons and damage of property, arising out of the use, maintenance, installation, operation, possession, ownership, or rental of the items rented, despite cause.
Breach of Contract (DEFAULT): The occurrence of any of the following shall constitute a material default:
a. The failure to make a required payment when due;
b. The failure to make any additional payment when due for any fees acquired after client's event provided for in AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC contract (agrement).
AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC reserves the right to seek any and all available remedies if client enters into a default on AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC contract (agrement), up to and including judicial action.
Judicial Action: Any dispute that requires legal resolution or any action arising from or brought under AOS Event Designs and Rentals LLC contract (agrement) shall be filed with the proper court under the corresponding jurisdiction.
